Turkey teeth cost: UK vs Turkey dental prices

Most UK patients save between 60 and 75 percent on crowns, veneers and implants by treating in Turkey. Below is what those treatments typically cost in both countries, what a package actually includes, and the costs people forget to budget for. Every patient we work with gets a fixed, itemised quote in writing before booking anything.

Typical prices compared

Turkish figures reflect the range we see across our partner clinics in Istanbul and Antalya. UK figures are typical private practice prices. Your own quote depends on your examination and the materials you choose.

Prices are indicative guides in pounds sterling and move with exchange rates. They are not a quote and do not replace a clinical assessment.

What a treatment package covers

Usually included

  • Consultation, x-rays and treatment planning at the clinic
  • The dental work itself, usually across two trips
  • Hotel accommodation for the treatment stay, typically 5 to 7 nights
  • Airport transfers and clinic transfers on treatment days
  • An English-speaking coordinator at the clinic
  • A written guarantee on crowns, veneers and implants

Budget separately

  • Flights from the UK, usually £120 to £350 return depending on season
  • Travel and medical insurance
  • Meals outside the hotel and personal spending
  • Extra nights if you choose to stay longer
  • Any additional treatment agreed after your in-person examination

Why two quotes for the same smile can differ by thousands

The biggest variable is not the country, it is what the clinic is proposing. A quote for 20 crowns is not the same as a quote for eight veneers on the teeth that actually show, even though the photos in the advert look identical. Cheaper packages often assume crowns, which means healthy teeth are reduced, while a more conservative plan costs more per tooth and preserves more of your own enamel.

Materials matter too. Standard zirconia, layered zirconia and E-max sit at different price points and behave differently in the mouth. So does the laboratory the clinic uses. Then there is what happens after: a clinic offering a written guarantee and a UK point of contact carries a cost that a clinic selling on price alone does not.

This is why we insist on a fixed itemised quote before anyone books. You should be able to see the number of teeth, the material, the guarantee period, the hotel nights and the transfers written down, so that the price you agree is the price you pay.

Turkey teeth cost questions

Why is dental treatment in Turkey so much cheaper than the UK?
Lower staff costs, lower clinic overheads, cheaper laboratory work and a weaker lira mean a Turkish clinic can charge far less for the same materials. It is a cost of living difference rather than a quality difference, which is why the clinic you pick matters more than the country.
How much should I budget in total?
For a full smile makeover of 16 to 20 crowns, most UK patients budget £3,500 to £6,000 all in, including flights, insurance and spending money. For implants, budget from around £1,000 for a single tooth and £4,000 to £7,000 per arch for All-on-4 or All-on-6 including travel.
Are cheap Turkey teeth deals safe?
Very low headline prices usually mean shaving healthy teeth down for crowns rather than doing conservative work, rushed appointments, or costs added later. We only introduce patients to clinics that give a fixed itemised quote before you travel and put the treatment plan in writing.
Do I pay Meditrust anything?
No. Our advice and guidance is free and carries no obligation. You pay the clinic directly for your treatment. The only payment to us is the optional £100 holding deposit if you book an in-person consultation in the UK, and that comes off your treatment cost if you go ahead.
How many trips will I need?
Crowns and veneers are usually one trip of 5 to 7 nights. Implants normally need two trips, a first visit to place the implants and a second visit around three to six months later to fit the final teeth.
What happens if something goes wrong when I am home?
Partner clinics provide a written guarantee, and we coordinate from the UK if you need a repair or a review. That is the main reason to go through a coordinator rather than booking a clinic directly from an advert.
